Effective July 2026
Taminaru is built around a simple stance: your terminal sessions are yours.
This page covers both this website and the Taminaru app.
This website
- No analytics, no tracking, no cookies. We don't run any tracking scripts
and we don't profile visitors.
- The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs (like IP address)
to deliver and protect the site, per
Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The waitlist
- If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the time you joined.
Nothing else.
- We use it for exactly one purpose: telling you about Taminaru's availability and launch.
No third-party marketing, no selling or sharing of the list.
- Want off the list? Email us (below) and we'll delete your address.
The app
- No account. Taminaru has no sign-up and no login.
- No telemetry. The app does not phone home about your usage.
- Your sessions never touch our servers. Taminaru connects your Mac directly
to your servers over SSH. There is no relay, no cloud middleman, and no copy of your
terminal traffic anywhere but the two machines involved.
- Keys stay on your Mac. Taminaru's own keys are generated in Apple's
Secure Enclave and cannot leave it; your existing SSH keys stay in
~/.ssh
where they've always been.
